Work aboard our commercial fishing/processing vessel. The Alaskan Lady is a 182 ft. freezer longliner. We catch and process Pacific Cod. Our company values quality and safety above all else. We are recruiting for quality-minded Licensed Chief Engineers, Deckhands and Processors who work fast, smart and safely. The ability to work long hours and with a spirit of team work is vital. We have crew from all works of life and applicants must be able to work and live alongside people from multiple cultures. Compensation is based on a percentage of sales and crewmember experience and skills.

DECKHAND DUTIES:
Bend, repair, replace hooks, and gaff fish
Set anchor-ends and bird lines
Run Mustad auto-baiter, run Mustad combi
Break out/prep bait cases, assist in factory
Tie gear, dock and tie up boat
Keep house clean
PROCESSOR JOB DUTIES:
Bleeding, Heading and gutting fish
Panning fish and Grading fish
Loading and breaking freezer
Offload product, making and labeling boxes
Cleaning the production line and vessel
ALL POSITIONS – JOB REQUIREMENTS:
18 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States and can provide adequate I.D.
Willing and able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
Understand and speak basic English
2-3 years verifiable work history with no significant gaps
Able to perform repetitive work, stand, bend, twist, constant work with hands
Able to work 16 hours per day in cold, wet, moving conditions.
Able to lift heavy at least 50 lbs. repetitively and carry materials from one point to another
Able to work and live harmoniously in close proximity with others
